you good at delegating tasks?
When working as a IT trainer
there have been times in the supervisors absence, I took the role to call short
department meetings. As one of the longer serving members, I felt obligated
to view the overall work demands for the week and based on the key skills and
strengths of individuals in the department, I made suggestions as to who could
take on roles and remained open to receive feedback.
We accomplished the weeks work, everyone was happy with what they had done and
I was more confident to train for supervisory roles.
