What are your future career objectives and how have you prepared yourself in obtaining them

It has always been an important goal to develop my talents, through efficient planning.
Having managed teams in previous roles, this has involved inspiring people to develop and progress in their careers.
This has helped individual personnel to build a clear plan and a good methodology.
One element has included an action job plan as a statement of intention allowing me to reach my vision or target job role.

Although my career objectives have changed over a period of time, I have continuously monitored my progress through performance reviews with line managers and a career mentor to outline the different stages of my progression.

My targets have always been realistic, in order for me to achieve my objectives with outlined stages of progression, as unrealistic targets in the past have been de-motivating, leading me at times to a feel like a failure.

It has been increasingly important for me to have specific timescales and cut off points as my career objectives may never be met, in utilising this method and strategy I create a well-structured plan with realistic timescales with sufficient flexibility to take into account the necessity to meet desired objectives.
