an example of when you had to show good leadership
Working for a range of organizations to offer marketing services, I
have provided pragmatic solutions to make a positive business impact.
One particular occasion, working for a sports event company, to stage
an interactive event, resulted in me, researching and developing the
business model and business strategy.
I was responsible for Identifying new partnerships, acquisitions and
other revenue/profit generating business opportunities through market
sizing and financial business case modeling.
The important step I had to take was to deliver a unique and comprehensive
view of what was happening at the initial concept stage and what dynamics
would create new business opportunities and what was required to deliver
against these, which in turn would allow the sports company to compete
successfully against their rival interactive companies.
The expectations placed upon me, within a short time
period were to provide delivery assurance that ensured the project would
be successfully delivered against agreed timelines.
Having access to knowledgeable industry experts who could grasp todays
rapidly changing marketplace, allowed me certain opportunities to capitalize
on short and long term opportunities by fostering solid long-term relationships
through a collaborative approach with pioneering companies and individuals.
